Magnetic moment of the ρ-meson in QCD sum rules
The magnetic moment μ of the ρ-meson is calculated in the framework of QCD sum rules in external fields. Bare loop calculations (parton model) give: μpart = 2.0. The contribution of operators of dimension 6 reduces this value: μ = 1.5± 0.3. ∗e-mail:[email protected]
متن کاملThe ΣΛ Transition Magnetic Moment in Light Cone QCD Sum Rules
Using the general form of the Σ and Λ currents, the ΣΛ transition magnetic moment is calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our result on this quantity with the existing theoretical results and experimental data is presented. متن کاملThe Ω and ΣΛ transition magnetic moment in QCD Sum Rules
The method of QCD sum rules in the presence of the external electromagnetic Fμν field is used to calculate the Ω magnetic moment μΩ and the Σ Λ transition magnetic moment μΣ0Λ, with the susceptibilities obtained previously from the study of octet baryon magnetic moments. The results μΩ = −1.92μN and μΣ0Λ = 1.5μN are in good agreement with the recent experimental data.
متن کاملΣQΛQ transition magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules
Using the general form of ΣQ and ΛQ (Q = b or c) currents, ΣQΛQ transition magnetic moments are calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two–particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Our predictions on transition magnetic moments are μΣcΛc = −(1.5±0.4)μN and μΣbΛb = −...
متن کاملOrder of the QCD transition and QCD sum rules.
We propose using the finite-temperature p-meson mass as an order parameter to monitor the QCD transition. This is suggested by the p-meson mass formula that emerges from finite-temperature QCD sum rules in the vector channel, and which encompasses the effects of both quark and gluon condensates. We find that a second-order chiral-restoring transition implies a second-order behavior for the p ma...
